Our Mission
Making Choices Mentoring Program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that aims to empower adolescent girls through interactive workshops and activities. The program is designed to encourage self confidence, enhance education, develop ethical character, promote leadership skills and a sense of pride for community services. Thereby cultivating positive leaders that will influence their peers and others.
MEET THE CEO & FOUNDER
In 2008, Making Choices was created and founded by Veronica Wheatley. Mrs. Wheatley became a teen mom while being raised in Los Angeles. Through her experience with teen parenting she was inspired to develop a mentoring program for young girls. Mrs. Wheatley believes that God has put this on her heart to have such a program. Mrs. Wheatley is married with four beautiful daughters and seven delightful grandchildren.
